His second reason states, Secondl y, The poorer tenants will have something valuable of their own, which by law may be made liable to a distress, and help to pay their landlords rent, their corn and cattle being already seized, and money a thing unknown, (Swift, Para. 22). He thinks that poor tenants with children will be able to give their landlords something valuable by giving them their child.No landlord would repel a child as a means of money because it just costs more money to them to have the child then without it. This style has grabbed the attention of all the readers and will continue to grab the attention of all the future readers of his essay.
